Generalist. Builder. Writer.

I'm a generalist. I enjoy figuring things out, designing, and shipping them. The problems I work on are usually the ones I can't stop thinking about.

Currently, I work on growth and product at Soda Data, where we build data quality tools for the agent age. I joined through Soda's acquisition of NannyML in early 2025. Lately I've been busy. I rebuilt soda.io from scratch, shipped Soda CLI, designed and built Soda Straw, and I'm now working on Soda Cloud.

On the side, I write The Little Book of ML Metrics, an open-source reference book on ML evaluation metrics. It's at 1K+ stars on GitHub and you're welcome to contribute. I also build small things: howtoseo.ai, messydata, ageml, and employeesmustwashhandsbeforereturningtowork.com.

I read mostly sci-fi and ML books. I love watching stand-ups and sitcoms, and I often daydream about writing comedy or making an animated series.
